About the destination

Folegandros is a small, dramatic Cycladic island whose whitewashed Chora sits on the edge of a cliff high above the sea. Cars are kept out of the old centre, and a path leads up to the Panagia church for sunset views. Beaches such as Agali and Katergo, the hamlet of Ano Meria and the Chrysospilia cave add variety, and traditional dishes include matsata pasta and local cheese pies.
