About the destination

Tinos is a Cycladic island famous for the Panagia Evangelistria, one of the most important pilgrimage churches in Greece, which draws crowds on 15 August and 25 March. The island is also known for its hundreds of ornate dovecotes, the marble sculpture of Pyrgos and boulder-strewn Volax. Villages are connected by walking paths, beaches are spread along a windy coast, and local food includes sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes and cured pork louza.
