About the destination

Stemnitsa is a mountain village with stone mansions, churches and a long silversmith tradition, set high above the Lousios Gorge in Arcadia. A school and workshops keep the craft alive. It is a good base for quiet walking and for combining with Dimitsana, Vytina and Mainalo.
